Calling All Explorers!

Unwritten HQ is working on a project, and we’d like you to be a part of it! Record a video of YOU, as your explorer-self, linking to D’ni. U-R-U, and we want to know who’s in cavern right now!

What to do, part 1:

• Video must be recorded in landscape mode, we won’t take ones in portrait mode, sorry.
• Your video should be up to 25 seconds of raw footage in one of these file formats: .mp4, .mov, .avi
• You don’t need to edit sound, add effects or anything, we gotchoo.
• Please don’t share the video or upload it to any online sites like youtube or tiktok (other than the submission site, obs) until after we’ve shared the completed project (you’ll know when…)
• Your deadline is OCTOBER 10, 2022
• We can’t guarantee we’ll use all footage. This is a fun bit of promo mayhem, not a contest.

Your Script:

• Have an open “linking book” sitting on a pedestal, table, or other surface.
• Film a few seconds of just the book by itself.
• Film yourself walking to the linking book, and placing your hand on the book to link. Vwwooommmmmm
• Hold that pose for about 5-7 seconds.
• Walk away and leave the camera running for a bit more.
• Ok, you can stop filming now.

What to do, part 2:

You should name your file “ExplorerVideoYourname” and upload it to Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, or another private file host from which you can share the uncompressed/unedited video files. Not Youtube or Facebook or places like that; we need raw, uncompressed video.

Then, send the LINK to the file to team@unwrittenrpg.com. Please make the subject line “Explorer Video” and include in the body of the email your name AND the name you would like to be credited as.
